The approach
How we treat this — and how we measure progress.
Run by Dr. Mariam Fahmy, our pediatric program uses Bobath Pediatric, sensory integration and family coaching. Our pediatric room is sealed off from the adult clinic — calm light, low equipment, no clinical posters. Parents are part of every session.
Typical recovery timeline
What recovery looks like, week by week.
Personal trajectories vary; this is the median path our patients follow.
- 1
Weeks 1–4
Detailed pediatric assessment, GMFM baseline, parent goals
- 2
Weeks 5–12
Movement quality, postural control, play-based motor skills
- 3
Weeks 13–20
Functional milestones — sitting, transitions, walking as appropriate
- 4
Weeks 21–24
School readiness, home program review, six-month follow-up
What to expect
No surprises. The first three weeks are predictable.
Parent-led goals
We ask what matters at home — sitting at the dinner table, school stairs — and shape therapy around those.
Weekly home video
A short clip of two key drills lands in your WhatsApp every Friday. Practice between sessions is everything.
Schools and orthotists liaison
We coordinate with school PTs and the local orthotist so AFOs and seating are matched to current ability.
Techniques we use
Evidence-led methods, layered intentionally.
- Bobath Pediatric handling
- Sensory integration
- GMFM outcome tracking
- Family coaching with home video
2024 outcome data
89% of our cerebral palsy patients improve at least one GMFM level over 12 months of regular care.
